The Best Foundations for Combination/Oily Skin – Top 4 Drugstore Foundations for Combination/Oily Skin 2016

The Best Foundations for Combination/Oily Skin – Top 4 Drugstore Foundations for Combination/Oily Skin 2016

I have tried and tested nearly 10 foundations over the course of 2 months that claim to cater to us combination/oily skinned ladies (and gents!) and I have FINALLY narrowed it down to the best 4, and they are all awesome. Jump in!
I have combination skin and in the winter my dry areas become the dryer while during the summer my oily areas become oilier *cries*. It is so challenging to find a foundation that doesn’t dry out my face or turn it into an oil slick. These 4 foundations are the best foundations that I have used from the drugstore so without further ado I’m just going to jump right into it! *Jumps*

No. 1
Maybelline Fit Me! Matte & Poreless Foundation for Normal to Oily Skin
Pros:
❤ Doesn’t need a primer
❤ Skin looks smooth, poreless, and matte
❤ Good coverage – Medium coverage with a sponge and full coverage with a brush
Cons:
Only lasts about 6 hours before you need to blot or do a touch-up (but that’s still a long time haha)

No. 2
L’Oréal Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation
Pros:
❤ SUPER long wearing and lasts all day 10+ hours
❤ Full coverage and has a beautiful finish
❤ It’s apparently a dupe for the Mac Studio Fix foundation
Cons:
Can look cakey if you apply too much
May sink into fine lines if too much is applied

No. 3
Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour Foundation
Pros:
❤ Also super long wearing and lasts 10+ hours
❤ Full coverage and has a beautiful finish
❤ Mixed with a serum so it also nourishes your skin
Cons:
Can look cakey if you apply too much

No.4
CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation
Pros:
❤ Long wearing 6+ hours
❤ 3-in-1 foundation that is mixed with primer and concealer
Cons:
Coverage is on the lighter side (but can be layered to a medium)
Needs a primer to look it’s best
Doesn’t stay matte all day

There you have it! I also want to mention that all of these foundations are easy to apply and blend, and they all have a good colour selection so I’m sure you will be able to find your shade.  I’m in the process of testing out a few high end foundations/bb creams(click link for a hint of one of my favourites :P) and I will make a ‘Top High End Foundations for Combination or Oily Skin’ post when I have enough data.
