H&M Cream Lipstick Review – Scarlet Fever

H&M Cream Lipstick Review – Scarlet Fever

I wasn’t expecting much from this H&M lipstick, I really wasn’t, but after using it for a few days I am completely blow away by the quality of it…
According to the H&M website:

Our classic lipstick. The rich and creamy formula offers medium coverage, gliding on smoothly for full-bodied lips. With an inspiring palette of highly pigmented colours to choose from, it’s easy to match your mood and look. 3.5 g. How to use: Wear it alone, after lip primer for extra punch and staying power, or underneath a gloss to add shine.

This is a great lipstick because of it’s creamy and pigmented formula. I purchased the shade ‘Scarlet Fever,’ and it’s a rich orange red that glides on smoothly, and leaves my lips feeling soft and moisturized. It leaves a nice soft shine on the lips without appearing overly glossy. Also, it doesn’t feel greasy and doesn’t have an over powering scent- it smells like any other generic lipstick.
Most highly pigmented lipsticks leave my lips a bit dry but this one keeps my lips moisturized all day. It stays on for 4-5 hours IF you don’t eat or drink anything. Unfortunately one of the big drawbacks is that it transfers easily and it isn’t long wearing so if you do have a meal the lipstick comes right off.

Very pigmented
❤ Very creamy and moisturizing
❤ Affordable – purchased mine for seven dollars at H&M
❤ Good range of colours to choose from

❆ Transfers easily
❆ Not long wearing

Final thoughts
This is a very pigmented lipstick. One layer will give you the same intensity as two or three layers. If you like super pigmented, creamy and moisturizing lipsticks then I would recommend that you give this a try, but keep in h&m lipstick scarlet fever lipstick reviewmind that it isn’t long wearing so it does rub off easily. I always retouch my lip situation after a meal to make sure that it looks fresh and clean so I don’t mind that it comes off easily, so I will definitely pick up another shade the next time I visit H&M!
